The Vision Behind the SHERO Society
A Holistic Movement for Healing, Alignment, and Purpose
More Than a Community — A Call to Rise
The SHERO Society for Healing, Health & Happiness exists to create intentional spaces where cycle-breaking women can do the inner work required to live lives rooted in alignment and purpose rather than pressure and performance.
This is not about surface-level inspiration. It is about structured transformation.
Inside this movement, women are invited to slow down, reconnect with themselves, renew their minds, and realign their lives across mind, body, soul, and spirit.
The work is not about fixing what is broken. It is about remembering what has always been whole.
The Foundation: Tenacious Moments Coaching
Before The SHERO Society became an ecosystem, there was Tenacious Moments Coaching.
In 2023, after earning a master’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Life Coaching, Coach Kia entered the coaching space with a simple intention: to support women wherever they were and guide them through whatever they needed most.
At the time, there was no brand language. No niche clarity. No ecosystem strategy. There was only this truth: women were hurting, searching, and silently carrying more than they were meant to hold.
Tenacious Moments Coaching was born from that place — a professional coaching practice grounded in training, lived experience, and deep compassion.

The Birth of The SHERO Society
As the coaching practice grew, so did the vision.
Through learning marketing, branding, and community-building — and by listening deeply to both clients and divine direction — it became clear that the work was bigger than individual sessions.
This wasn’t just a service. It was a container for something greater.
As a result, Coach Kia created a Facebook group called The SHERO Society for Holistic Wellness. It was originally a space for self-care and wellness conversations within a community of women. Yet something still felt incomplete. By continually asking “why,” Coach Kia uncovered a deeper truth: while wellness was the goal, restoration and healing had to come first before sustainable self-care could truly begin.
Her trifecta of wellness — healing, health, and happiness — became the foundation. Hence, the name evolved to The SHERO Society for Healing, Health & Happiness to reflect that deeper understanding.
Today, the Facebook group remains a space for transformative conversations. The SHERO Society, as a brand, is an integrated ecosystem where transformational work unfolds across multiple pathways — bringing together transformational life coaching, resources, community, and holistic practices to support whole-person well-being.
Core Philosophy & Frameworks
Lasting transformation is holistic, intentional, and internally led. Personal growth is not a collection of disconnected goals. It is an integrated process that honors the whole woman — mind, body, soul, and spirit.
Six foundational principles guide our philosophy:
01
Transformation begins with awareness.
Sustainable change requires honest self-reflection and conscious decision-making.
02
Alignment is more powerful than hustle.
Growth rooted in clarity and self-trust is more sustainable than growth driven by pressure or performance.
03
Healing is facilitated, not forced.
Every woman already carries the capacity to heal. Our role is to create the conditions that support that process.
04
Identity shapes behavior.
Lasting change occurs when women reconnect with who they are rather than who they were told to be or simply by what they do.
05
Community supports consistency.
Transformation deepens when reflection and accountability are held within a supportive container.
06
The S.H.E.R.O Transformation Method™ provides the structure.
This foundational framework anchors every offering — integrating self-awareness, healing, and embodied alignment to support sustainable growth.
Meet Coach Kia
My Foundation
Hey Shero! Thank you for taking the time to learn about The SHERO Society.
I want you to know that my work was not born from theory alone. It was shaped by lived experience, faith, and the unshakable belief that a little tenacity goes a long way.
I learned early how to overcome tenacious moments in my life. As a teenage mother at fifteen — and a free-spirited wanderer learning through experience — life became my teacher. I faced circumstances that could have easily defined my future. Instead, I chose discipline. I chose belief. I chose purpose.
That decision marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to growth — even when things were hard.
With a strong support system and what I now call my tenacious transformer spirit, I graduated on time as a top-ten student. At nineteen, I completed Practical Nursing School and became the first African American woman to win the National Health Occupations Students of America “Medical Spelling” competition.
In the years that followed — while raising three more children and building my marriage — I earned a bachelor’s degree in Africana Studies from UNC Charlotte, and later a master’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Life Coaching from Liberty University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
I don’t share these milestones to impress you. I share them to honor the commitment I made to myself: that my challenges would not define me or limit the life I was capable of building.
The Work
I bring that same tenacity into my work today.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve supported teenage mothers, educated students, advocated for families, and helped women navigate life transitions.
And across every role, two things became very clear to me.
First, I naturally fight for the underestimated — probably because I understand their power.
Second, people don’t struggle because they’re broken. They struggle because they’re disconnected from their values, their identity, and their purpose. That disconnection can come from generational patterns, social environments, life disruptions, or trauma.
When it lingers, it shows up as emotional exhaustion, physical strain, and lives that feel misaligned.
That’s why I created Tenacious Moments Coaching. It was my response to the pain and maladaptive patterns I kept seeing. I wanted women to know that with the right support, they could overcome any perceived limitation they were facing.
The Vision
Although the heart of the work is the same, the mission has expanded.
As a faith-filled woman, I felt called to create more than a coaching service, but also a container for transformation.
Women didn’t just need advice.
They needed space.
Structure.
Integration.
That realization gave birth to The SHERO Society for Healing, Health & Happiness.
The SHERO Society is a holistic wellness ecosystem designed to support transformation across mind, body, soul, and spirit. Through guided journals, transformational coaching experiences, mentorship pathways, and intentional community, women are invited to reconnect with themselves and build lives rooted in alignment rather than performance.
I serve as the coach and architect of the container — creating environments where awareness deepens, identity is renewed, and alignment becomes embodied. The transformation belongs to the woman doing the work.
This is a long-term vision, grounded in thoughtful structure, sustainable growth, and integrated living.
And if you’re reading this thinking, “This feels like what I’ve been looking for” — then yes, I’m talking to you.
Wherever you are in your journey, I’m honored to walk alongside you.
